Welcome to The Barnby Choir.

We are a friendly mixed voice choir with around 70 members. We are based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, in the South Manchester area of the UK. Our conductor is Peter Stallworthy. The choir is affiliated to Making Music, formerly known as the National Federation of Music Societies.

CONCERT SATURDAY 19TH MAY 2012

at Church of St. Michael and All Angels Bramhall.

Programme: Hiawatha's Wedding Feast by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor
Nanie by Johannes Brahms
Sprig of Thyme by John Rutter

Organ Accompaniment by Michael Wynne.

Tickets available at the door, or book in advance by phoning Doug on 01625 526065. Adults £10, Concessions £8, Students £2.

The performance will commence at 7.30 pm.

The Barnby Choir was founded by Canon Bertie Barnby in 1945 for the enjoyment of making music and that is still very much our mission today. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings (September to May) from 8.00pm - 10.00pm at Wilmslow Methodist Church.
