Why Join The Barnby Choir?

The choir has approximately 70 members of all ages and from all walks of life who all share one thing in common - love of choral music and a desire to produce exciting and professional performances. We meet for rehearsals every Tuesday evening from September to May, from 8.00 to 10.00 pm, at Wilmslow Methodist Church and put on three or four concerts a year.

We are always pleased to receive applications from prospective members. We are particularly keen to recruit Tenors and Basses. If you are interested in joining the choir please contact the Choir Secretary on 01663 749493.

It's really simple to join our choir: just come along to rehearsals for a few weeks and then attend a short audition. An ability to read music is not essential but previous singing experience is an advantage. We are looking for enthusiasm and commitment to regular attendance at rehearsals and concerts.
